Pragmatic Play Donates to Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park

Pragmatic Play, one of the leading providers of casino games to the iGaming industry, has donated £6,850 to Gibraltar’s wildlife sanctuary, the Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park (AWCP). The latter is known as the home of exotic animal species.

Located in the Alameda Botanic Gardens, the AWCP takes care of exotic pets and animals including cotton-topped tamarin that is confiscated by customs. With its endeavors, the park raises awareness of endangered species via education.

The donation provided by Pragmatic Play will support the park following the new North American turtle initiative. This includes funding the refurbishment of turtle ponds that seek running, filtered water for the health and cleanliness of all animals including the outdoor spaces where they reside.

In addition to tropical species, the wildlife park boasts three species of North American turtle – the common snapping turtle, map turtles, and yellow-bellied sliders. The latter sort can live more than 70 years.

One of the main purposes of the AWCP is the maintenance of threatened species in the wild as well as the participation in global conservation projects to guarantee their survival. Thanks to the breeding programs, they also want to have an essential role in the global effort to conserve rare species and those at-risk groups.
