Novomatic Gets Recognition at One of the Most Valuable Companies

NOVOMATIC, a leading company with more than 21,200 employees and activities in 100 countries around the globe, has taken second place based on the European Brand Institute ranking (EBI). The company has a brand value of EUR 3.033 billion (+2.2%), and it takes a position between Red Bull and the local food retail provider Spar.

The Austrian-based gambling giant has also taken valuable recognition for its commitment to sustainability securing the 4th position with the AAA Sustainable Brand Rating.

The company behind some of the best casino solutions in the market has made a great achievement despite the challenging period and pandemic spread. Novomatic took different awards in 2021 and claimed good rankings in the renowned ESG classification thanks to its strength, focus on sustainability goals, and efficiency.

Speaking on the new achievement, NOVOMATIC CEO Johannes Gratzl:

As part of the Austrian Brand Value Study, Austrian companies are annually evaluated by the European Brand Institute and placed on the list of “trend-TOP500 of the companies with the highest turnover in Austria” by the well-known magazine Trend. All brands owned 45% by Austrians and with brand value compliant with international standards ISO 10668 and ÖNORM A 6800 are estimated on several aspects including industry sector, trend development, brand strength, the potential of the brand, and turnover. As part of the selection procedure, 180 Austrian companies from 16 different industries were qualified.
