The Newcastle Knights are chasing five wins in a row when they host the Wests Tigers on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights haven't lost since a Round 1 defeat to the Bulldogs and they are full of confidence ahead of another home game.

Halfback Jesse Southwell is pulling the strings while captain Yasmin Clydsdale is leading from the front.

The Tigers are still chasing their first victory of the season but they have made their opponents work hard for their results.

Kezie Apps and Sarah Togatuki have laid the foundation up front while five-eighth Faythe Manera has impressed in her first season of NRLW.

Team News

Knights: Evah McEwen comes straight back into the starting side in her return from suspension in the only change to the team that beat Canberra last week. Jules Kirkpatrick reverts to the bench as a result, with Joeli Morris named as 18th player.

Wests Tigers: No changes to Brett Kimmorley's side, with Losana Lutu still sidelined with a virus. Evie McGrath will again partner Faythe Manera in the halves, while Salma Nour starts at hooker. Portia Bourke has been named 18th player after linking up with the club prior to last week's Harvey Norman Rising Talent Invitational in Newcastle.
