Champion centre Isabelle Kelly is on track to become the third Rooster in four years to claim the coveted Dally M Medal as voting goes behind closed doors for the remainder of the season.

Kelly polled five votes in the Roosters' Magic Round win over Wests Tigers to take her tally to 23, six clear of Newcastle's Jesse Southwell in second place.

Broncos winger Julia Robinson sits third on 16 votes with Cowboys fullback Jakiya Whitfeld in fourth on 15.

Should Kelly go on to claim the game's most prestigious individual honour she would follow in the footsteps of Olivia Kernick (2024) and Raecene McGregor (2022) as Roosters winners.

Among the stars on a wet and wild weekend in Newcastle were Bulldogs halfback Tayla Preston and Broncos fullback Tamika Upton, both of whom polled the maximum six votes in their respective matches.

Voting now goes ‘behind closed doors’ for the remainder of the regular season with anticipation building towards the announcement of the winner at the Dally M Awards in Grand Final week.
