Wests Tigers v Titans: Taylan time; Des sticks solid

A packed hill and glorious sunshine are set to greet the Wests Tigers when they host the Gold Coast Titans at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers are determined to lift in their first home game since Round 16 and bounce back from last week's loss to the Warriors in Auckland.

It's the second match to be played at Leichhardt this season, with Benji Marshall's men claiming a golden-point victory over the Sharks in Round 8.

Promising playmaker Latu Fainu is set to continue his development alongside Blues star Jarome Luai, while Api Koroisau will pull the strings at hooker.

The Titans were brave in last week's loss to the Broncos and need a win to keep their slim finals chances alive.

Veteran Kieran Foran will play his last game at Leichhardt as he prepares to retire at the end of the season and Gold Coast are eager to send him out on top.

Team News

Wests Tigers: Centre Taylan May has been named to make his Tigers debut after impressing in NSW Cup, with Adam Doueihi shifting to lock as a result. The reshuffle will see Alex Twal start at prop, while Alex Seyfarth has been named in the back row after Samuela Fainu picked up a knee injury last weekend. Fonua Pole also moves to the interchange.

Titans: Captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui returns to the starting side after coming off the bench last week. The switch with Jaimin Jolliffe is the only change to the team that fell to Brisbane last week. Sam Verrills has been cleared of a concussion and will take his place at hooker.
