Injuries to popular Fantasy players are forcing trades this week, while there's an opportunity to find a point of difference captaincy choice during a Round 18 in which Terrell May will be the overwhelming top pick.

Here are the answers to some of your burning NRL Fantasy questions.

Fantasy Q&A: Round 18

Need a green dot for Metcalf this week, who's the best bet?

Jamal Fogarty ($670k) and Adam Reynolds ($655k) are two good options, but they each have a bye to come in the next two weeks, and in Fogarty's case another one to come in Round 24.

Reynolds has a favourable draw coming up otherwise, with match-ups against the competition's bottom-three teams the Titans, Eels and Rabbitohs in the next month.

Brisbane will have a fair chance to rack up some scores there, and if they do, Reynolds will have 60+ potential.

If you need someone who should be a green dot every week from here then Jahrome Hughes' Storm side have had all their byes at this point.

While Hughes ($641k) is capable of 60+ scores when he gets over for a try, there's going to be some 40s in there too.

Best POD captain this week?

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Terrell May end up as captain in at least 40 percent of teams this week, so if you aren't backing yourself to win your head-to-head game, or you need to try and make a move in the overall standings, you need to be going in a different direction.

Keaon Koloamatangi and Jacob Preston are both projected to hit at least 60 in Round 18 and Preston in particular is low risk, having scored over 60 in nine of his 10 games this season.

Presto-licious

The one I really like as a high-ceiling pick though is Roosters WFB James Tedesco.

He's Fantasy's form fullback with a last-three game average of 63.3 and he comes up against a depleted Wests Tigers outfit who have a new halves combination that may struggle to limit his kick return options.

If he can score a try, Teddy has high 60s potential.

Best Couchman replacement? I have no spare cash.

For under Couchman's $636k price tag, Rabbitohs forward Tallis Duncan stands out.

Like the man you'd be replacing in this scenario, Duncan ($630k) has dual position status as both a EDG and MID, while he's had a locked in 80-minute role in the second row for pretty much the whole second half of this season.

But, although he has a last three game average of 73 thanks to a 96 and 72 in his last three appearances, his average mark when he's not scoring tries is probably closer to the mid to low 50s.

The Bunnies also have a bye next week, so you'll be without him in Round 19.
