A heroic post-Origin effort from a Fantasy favourite headlined the week, while it was a big round for backline stars who got in on the try-scoring as well.

Here's a wrap of the good, the bad and the downright ugly from Round 16.

Round 16 Fantasy Winners

A freakish 101-point effort from Payne Haas will go down as one of the best post-Origin Fantasy performances on record, with the Broncos MID overcoming the short turnaround to top the round by a margin of 20 points.

His second triple digit effort of the season was achieved in just 58 minutes on the field and was a game-changer for the 12 percent who captained him over Terrell May (31 percent).

WFB eligible players were responsible for the next two biggest hauls, with Mark Nawaqanitawase and Latrell Mitchell ending on 81 and 75 respectively.

Round 16: Marky Mark starts and finishes a Roosters epic!

After Junior Paulo (72 points), three CTRs appeared next on the list, with Bradman Best and point of difference captaincy choice Herbie Farnworth hitting 70, along with Braidon Burns' 69.

A six-strong logjam of players on 68 points included the week's biggest POD – Jaimin Jolliffe (owned by just 614 teams) – and the leading HOKs Harry Grant and Blayke Brailey

Star cash cow Hugo Savala had a second-straight score over 60 to ensure he continues to rack up the price rises.

Round 16 Fantasy Losers

It was a rough week for popular WFBs Xavier Savage (seven percent ownership) and Jesse Arthars (fourteen percent), with the pair finishing on six and 10 points respectively.

A knee injury after only 17 minutes saw high-performing EDG Siua Wong score 11, while Jayden Campbell – who some coaches leaned on as captain this week – was an early out in his game due to a failed HIA that left him on just 12.

Campbell wasn't the only Titan that struggled either, with HLF/WFB Aj Brimson managing only 20 and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui ending on a modest 24.
