The absence of several big guns didn't stop Fantasy coaches from registering big scores in Round 15, with the lack of an elite captaincy option the only thing holding many back from a business-as-usual performance in the second of the major bye rounds.

Here's a wrap of the week that was in NRL Fantasy.

Round 15 Fantasy Winners

Double Dolphin delight! Led by four-try hero Jack Bostock's 103, which was followed closely by gun CTR Herbie Farnworth's 99, it was a pair of Dolphins players who topped the Fantasy charts for Round 15.

That's four, count 'em

While Bostock's haul came out of the blue, with his previous season best being a 45, Farnworth has been hitting elite scores all season and now has a last three game average of 74.3.

Blayke Brailey ended a lengthy absence of HOKs in the top tier of scorers by busting out an 89 which was good enough for third, just ahead of teammate Addin Fonua-Blake on 84.

Dolphins playmaker Kodi Nikorima had an 81 which would have been even higher had he not gifted Farnworth a try over the line, while Viliami Kikau (79) topped the EDG players.

Herbie Farnworth Try

Alongside Nikorima (1.58 percent ownership), Dragons MID Jack de Belin (1.31 percent) and Chris Randall (0.98 percent) starred as point of difference options.

Jayden Campbell bounced back from a disappointing 36 in Round 14 to register a cool 75 points.

It was a big week for Hugo Savala owners too, with the HLF keeping his spot in the Roosters lineup despite the (originally planned) return of Sam Walker, before he hit 63 in the Roosters' win over the Knights.

Round 15 Fantasy Losers

Having presented as a possible value trade this week following Cronulla losing KL Iro long term, Mawene Hiroti's game lasted just 34 minutes and yielded only six points.

It was a miserable day at the office for Scott Drinkwater too, with the WFB – who sits in just over 13 percent of teams – managing just 13 in a heavy loss to the Dolphins.

After an excellent start to his Fantasy career, which saw him average 40.8 through his first 11 games, Dragons MID Hamish Stewart had a season-low 16.

Despite the DPP forward finishing with 65 points, anyone who traded in Keaon Koloamatangi this week can be included in this section, with a facial injury now expected to sideline him for multiple weeks and make him a probable trade out.
