Another week without any of the 'big three' captaincy options presents a big challenge for coaches, and all up half of Fantasy's top 10 scorers are sidelined in Round 15.

From skipper choices to Tamale trades and Turbo, here are the answers to some of your burning NRL Fantasy questions.

Fantasy Q&A: Round 15

Is Turbo worth a punt?

While he's priced at $403k, yes.

At that cost he almost qualifies as a cash down, and not many cash downs have the Fantasy CV of Tom Trbojevic, let alone his ability to take over a game on the field.

Tom Trbojevic's 2024 try-scoring season

Now, 2025 form tells us Turbo is a long, long way off being that player on a consistent basis. Four of his seven games this season have ended in below 25 points, although two of them were injury interrupted.

He's also got a 56 and 44 mixed in there though, so the upside is there.

Who are the best Tamale replacements?

Firstly, see earlier notes re Tom Trbojevic.

Secondly, following the loss of KL Iro last week to a serious pectoral injury, there's some real potential in Sharks back Mawene Hiroti, who should have a locked down NRL spot for the foreseeable future now.

In six games so far this year he's averaging 38 points, with scores over 40 in three of the four he's scored a try in.

Mawene Hiroti Try

Like Tamale, Hiroti gives you DPP status as both a WFB and CTR, while at $431k he's also going to leave you with an extra $66k post trade.

The other one that is around the same price and of some interest is AJ Brimson.

Although he's scored in the 30s in each of his two games starting as a fullback in 2025, Brimson has high scoring potential with the No.1 on his back.

If budget isn't an issue, or you're well stocked enough in the backline that you don't need a CTR or WFB, then your list of options expands massively.

Brimson double seals it

Captaincy options?

With no player projected to score over 60 points this week, there's no clear answer based off Round 15 data. However, if you've got Keaon Koloamatangi, he's your man and it's probably not even close in my opinion.

A last three game average of 84 makes him by far the best player available in terms of recent form this week, and it tells us he should absolutely obliterate that modest projection.

Keaon Kleans up

Fletcher Sharpe at fullback is always an interesting option too, and during the last major bye round he delivered big time in Kalyn Ponga's absence with a 98. There's always some risk with picking a back in a struggling team though.

A bit more left field is Dolphins HLF Isaiya Katoa against the Cowboys.

North Queensland give up a lot of points this year and in their last three games, opposing halfbacks have averaged 57 against them, including a mammoth 86 for Jahrome Hughes last week.
