NRL Fantasy Winners & Losers: Round 13

It was a lower scoring round on the Fantasy front in Round 13, with some highly-owned players struggling and the top tier scores down on previous rounds.

But with most of the Origin players backing up, the majority of teams still managed to field a scoring 13 and keep the wheel spinning.

Here's a wrap of the week that was in NRL Fantasy.

Round 13 Fantasy Winners

A try inside the opening 10 minutes set DPP forward Keaon Koloamatangi up for a round-high 85 in a narrow loss to the Warriors on Sunday. 

That haul takes him to a commanding last three game average of 74, with his ownership now creeping towards 20 percent.

Two tries and a handy 14 tackle busts boosted Starford To'a to his season-best score of 80, which put him second for the round, just ahead of workhorse Warriors WFB Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad who had 79. 

Luke Metcalf's long-range individual try in the second half gave him a fair chunk of his eventual total of 76, which made him the top HLF in Round 13 ahead of Tom Dearden (74). 

Leading captaincy choices Nathan Cleary (73) and Terrell May (70) both delivered for owners, while Payne Haas was a long way off the pace this week with 45.

A hat-trick for Rabbitohs WFB Alex Johnston made him the POD of the Week, with just 1867 players having him rostered in Round 13. 

Round 13 Fantasy Losers

Anyone thinking Matthew Lodge might be cash down option after last week's 54 was smacked back to reality with his 11-minute, six-point effort against the Broncos.

Popular cheapie Joash Papalii's game lasted only 15 minutes before he left the field with seven points to his name. 

Injury meanwhile cruelled popular DPP forward Mitchell Barnett, who limped from the field with only 15 to his name and a potentially serious knee injury that might make him an immediate sell.

While we are here, let's pour one out for the Fantasy form of Rabbitohs HLF Jamie Humphreys, who averaged 68 through the first four rounds before injury, only to now possess a last three game average of 30.
