Broncos prop Payne Haas has powered into second place on the Dally M Medal standings after a dominant display against the Cowboys that earned him the Carl Webb Medal.
Haas tormented the North Queensland defence with 23 runs for 214 metres and a stunning solo try as the Broncos got home 26-16 at Suncorp Stadium.
Also picking up maximum votes in Round 3 were Warriors fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (30 runs for 316 metres and seven tackle breaks) and Sharks playmaker Braydon Trindall, who was scoring tries and setting them up as Craig Fitzgibbon's men turned on the razzle dazzle to down Souths.
Despite an off night on the Gold Coast, superstar Knights No.1 Kalyn Ponga continues to lead the standings with 12 votes, with Haas and Rabbitoh Jye Gray hot on his heels.
