Players can double the value of their initial bet and subsequently receive one additional card. If their first two cards happen to be of the same value, they can split them into separate hands and, for all except Aces, hit multiple times.

Insurance is offered when the dealer’s first card is an Ace, costs half of the player’s initial bet, and pays 2:1 if the dealer gets a Blackjack.
