Evoke is set to significantly expand its footprint in Romania, following the acquisition of the New Gambling Solutions SRL brand, Winner.ro, for a cash deal valued at €10 million. This strategic move is aimed at consolidating Evoke’s presence in the region and enhancing its competitive edge in the European gambling market.
The acquisition is a pivotal step for Evoke as it seeks to merge Winner.ro with its existing Romania-facing business, 888.ro. This merger is expected to position the combined entity as the fourth largest online casino brand in the Romanian market, capturing a 7% market share. The integration of these two powerful brands under the Evoke umbrella is poised to create a robust platform for sustained growth and market penetration.
