Indigenous Round 2025

The NRL, through its Reconciliation Action Plan, is committed to greater promotion and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within the Game

A major example of this commitment in action is the NRL Indigenous Round.

This year marks the first time ever that Indigenous Round will be played across two rounds in both the NRL and NRLW Telstra Premiership competitions kicking off from 7 August.

We are calling on the ljmpta.community to be proud of the strength of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people inspired by Rugby League. Proud of the vision of our game and players that continue to have a positive impact in the community. Proud of the legacy created by pivotal moments and people in history that have driven change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
