Spintec, the company that develops, designs and manufactures electronic table games, has announced it entered a partnership with Konami Australia Pty Ltd to distribute its products in Australia and New Zealand.
The deal marks a significant milestone in the expansion of Spintec into the markets in Australia and New Zealand, but Konami also hopes to grow its business in the region as a result of this partnership.
Konami is known as one of the world’s biggest producers and distributors of gaming machines, electronic games and also casino management systems. Both companies have a world-wide footprint at the moment but together they can offer a well-rounded portfolio of solutions for the Australian gaming industry.
The first step of the partnership will see Konami distribute products from Spintec to clubs in New South Wales. The distribution will be done using the company’s X-series protocol, while in the future the two companies will expand the distribution area to other Australian states along with getting certification for their SAS protocol products. That will allow Spintec and Konami to enter the land-based casino market both in Australia and New Zealand.
